The Attwater Product Development Team are continually developing innovative new products to fit industry needs. Their unique product understanding, and industry knowledge has led to the development of many specialist products. Some of these products are quite unique, hence they are listed separately from the rest of the product range.


Technolaque CF : Carbon Fibre.
A recent addition to the Attwater product range, Technolaque CF, Carbon fibre products are manufactured using 3k woven carbon (other types on request) together with an epoxy resin system. The product is available in two types.
  • Pure Carbon Fibre (used in mechanical applications),
  • Hybrid Carbon Fibre (sandwiched, suitable for aesthetic applications).

Solder Pallet materials : PCB manufacture.
The Attwater Group have several products in their range developed specifically for the manufacture flow and reflow solder pallets.

Technolaque® T2000SD is a black, static dissipative product which uses woven glass fabric to enhance the dimensional stability and mechanical strength of the product, giving distinct advantages in use over traditional chopped strand and continuous mat products.
Excellent resistance to thermal shock, thermal cycling and it's resistance to solvents and synthetic fluxes make this product ideally suited to carrier and jig manufacture

Technolaque® T2050 is a black, static dissipative epoxy / chopped strand mat product suitable for flow and reflow applications.

Technolaque® T2060 is a blue, epoxy / chopped strand mat product suitable for flow and reflow applications. This product is a slightly cheaper alternative to T2050SD, where a non conductive material is acceptable.

Armordon.
Armordon is a lightweight, cost effective armour panel designed and manufactured by the Attwater Group to meet the ever-increasing threat of armed attack. Suitable for the protection of commercial, industrial and military premises, Armordon is a light weight, easy to handle & work product that will protect against shotgun, handgun and blunt edge weapon attacks.

B34 Polyimide Glass.
Bakelaque B34, polyimide glass laminated sheet is the flagship product in the Attwater Group's composite insulation range. Dark brown in colour, the product is mechanically stable and rigid for long-term use at 250ºC and intermittently at higher temperatures. Manufactured to comply with type BSEN 60893-3-7-PIGC301.

Technolaque® PE164 Epoxy Polyester.
This epoxy/polymer composites are manufactured from woven polyester cloth, treated with high performance Epoxy resin systems. The combination of the two materials gives this product unique characteristics of exceptional electrical & mechanical properties, abrasion & impact resistance, and their SF6 resistance makes these products ideally suited to switchgear manufacture.
Technolaque® PE164 exhibits a TG (DSC) in excess of 160ºC.
