Industrial Laminate
The Attwater Group are the longest established manufacturer of Industrial Laminates in the UK.

Industrial laminates are manufactured by impregnating a substrate with a resin, such as cotton cloth and phenolic resin. This impregnated material (known as pre-preg) is built up in layers and subjected to temperature and pressure in a hydraulic press. During this process the resin cures to an insoluble, solid state.

The resulting material is an extremely rigid, hard wearing material suited to countless applications. Generic industry terms for these products include:- SRBP, SRBF, SRBG, GRP, PGM, Bakelite® or Tufnol® to name but a few.

Standard sheet sizes are 1220 x 1220mm and thicknesses can be produced in excess of 200mm. Larger sheet sizes may be available on request.
